Scheduled Downtime This Sunday, Mar. 11

This Sunday, March 11 ITS will be performing scheduled maintenance on all critical University systems. The scheduled maintenance window is 6:00AM–11:00AM.

From the ITS Systems blog:*

This is the most significant down time as all critical systems will be unavailable including email. We are performing a major operation which will help us reduce the scope of future down times by distributing data storage over more systems. During this window, a very limited home page will be displayed on Wesleyan’s web site.

During this time, the following services will be unavailable:

  • main Wesleyan website—a limited homepage will be displayed during the maintenance
  • Wesleyan blogs (including the Alumni Helpdesk site)
  • Wesleyan e-mail
  • WesNet/Electronic Portfolio

Wesconnect will not be affected.

For status updates during the outage please visit the Wesleyan ITS Twitter feed or Facebook page.


* The maintenance was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 10 but was rescheduled to March 11.
