Phishing alert for Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012

Wesleyan Alumni: an e-mail message is circulating that pretends to be from Wesleyan University asking you to provide your e-mail address and password. The message may appear with the following header details:

From: Account Upgrade <upgrade@wesleyan.edu>
Subject: Your Wesleyan University mailbox has exceeded the storage

Please delete any such messages that you receive and do not reply to them. Wesleyan will never ask you to provide your username and password. Instead we provide tools to allow you to reset your password as needed.

If you have responded to this message, please immediately change your password using the Password Manager in WesNet, or reset your password using the WesNet password reset form. Further information is available on the Username and Password page.
